  1. My group is lacking and I would like to know if anyone is having the same issues 1. Is your support group is meeting your needs? This question is for folks 1 yr plus since surgery. 2. Do you still attend support groups? If so why, if not why 3. Are the groups talking about topic of interest and concern to you? 4. If not what topics are important to you since your surgery is a year or more? 5. Are your groups facilitated by a peer liaison (someone who has had the surgery)? If not would you like to have one? 6. What would the topics be if your support group were meeting your needs? I appreciate and anxiously await all responses

  4. Yes it appears that its true but you must exercise to get it off
  5. My support group does not really support those of us who are vets. I would like to know if you attended support groups what would your needs be? what would you talk about? What topics would keep you going back for more? We all know as vets our support needs are extremely different from when we started the journey thanks for your help.

  11. Folks we all know how strong we r jst to make the decision. I wb 1 yr out on the 29th and I tell people I am on a protein program I hve to exercise drink water I hve a doc and nut. And its hard but the grace of god is my success. That's my story and I am sticking to it oddly enough I hve motivated people. I believe it is no ones concern some knew b4 others knew during and some still wonder its up to u. Most cannot handle the truth b blessed

  13. U must b positive make a list as if u were approved once approved go buy what u need. Just a word of fact "NOTHING IN LIFE IS 100%" so do the best u can. I am a year out start being positive your future success in this new way of life depends on it. Good luck.
