Thrush anyone?

I'm 9 days post op gastric sleeve & two days ago was diagnosed with thrush.

I'm also having pretty bad pain in left upper quadrant. On call Doc seems to think the pain is due to the fact that I stopped taking my narcotic pain medicine. But thrush develops from steroid medication. Seems to me it's a catch 22.

Any thoughts??

I had an awful yeast infection on my skin folds, particularly under my breasts, a few days after surgery. Is the thrush in your mouth (my baby had that years ago). They had me put gentian violet in her mouth. For me, they had me use athlete's food powder and it cleared it up in a few days. Good luck!
