Just starting on the road to bypass

I never had a weight problem until I hit 30 and 3 weeks before my 30th I had our 3rd child. She's 7 now. I have spent 7 years 50+ lbs overweight. I had to have emergency spine surgery or face paralysis last March. The spine surgeon said a lot of my back pain has to do with my weight. I'm looking forward to the bypass as I have a stomach loaded with gastritis that leave me nauseated or vomiting a majority of the time. I'm nervous as an organ I was born with will be gone but so will chronic nausea, vomiting, and extra pounds.
