Insurance question from a newbie

Just starting the process and getting more excited as I learn and read more about the successes of so many of you. My doctor is all for this for me so I know I have his support but I'm wondering if anyone with Independent Health as their insurance ran into issues with them. I just want to prepare myself for worst case so if anyone has any wisdom on this, would truly appreciate. -- God Bless!

    I just wanted to say welcome and good luck on your journey. I don't have your insurance but maybe you can call them and ask what their policy is for weight loss surgery. I also reached out to my HR dept at work to make sure my insurance covered it so I knew I should be ok.
