A little background on me, I had my Gastric Bypass surgery 01/03/2012 and am almost to goal. I want to give back to the community and I feel I have my life back after this surgery.

If you schedule the meeting at 7 pm I will be about 10-15 minutes late I dont get out of the gym until 7 pm where are you talking about meeting? Its getting warmer maybe we can do bike rides as well.

Bike rides would be great! Any suggestions for meeting places?

I am looking to purchase a bike by the end of this month and I thought it would be an excellent way to get in some exercise since they are so many bike trails .

You will probably laugh, but I have an old Candy apple red Schwinn that my husband bought me....love that bike!

Lol I am looking into townie bikes and bikes exactly like the bike you have wow lucky butt .

Three of us! I have a bike I got not too long ago. One of those old fashioned looking ones. I have to get better at riding it. I haven't tried since I lost weight. Went to Metro with it a few times. Enjoyed it when I wasn't worried that I'd crash. LOL.

Hello! And no worries, you don't need a bike! I really just wanted to get a group together for moral support, friendship, inspiration, ideas....etc...we could also walk together or simply just meet to talk! We have not decided where to meet yet tomorrow, but as soon as we do, I will let you know on here!!!
