Homemade protein shakes

I'm 5 weeks post op and would like to make my own protein shakes but I heard we are not allowed to use a blender. What is everyone else doing to make their own shakes?

Sorry to be nosey but why can't you use a blender

Add kale to your home made shakes and almond butter with almond milk the low sugar one and oat meal with a little bit of blueberries and a dap of crunchy peanut butter and blend :) oh abd a apple try that very good I am looking forward in making it don't add to much just a little of each

huh, I've never heard of not being allowed to use a blender. I do find that using a standard blender puts a lot of air bubbles and foam into a shake, which can be uncomfortable and gross to drink. But you can put your shake in the fridge for an hour after blending to get rid of the bubbles if a standard blender is what you have on hand. I use an immersion blender, which doesn't add any foam or air bubbles to the shake. Plus it is easier to clean!

I use a nutri bullett

Thanks every one . I was told not to use a blender because of the air it puts in, but when I let it sit it separates and is not very appetizing...
