5 days post opp

Still a little sore but I have walked every day further than the day before. My biggest problem is getting enough of the protein shakes in me. I get my morning one down with no problem. But I struggle the rest of the day. Also since I have been drinking my water but can't get rid of this nasty film and taste in my mouth. If anyone has any advice please share. I'm just starting to feel a little hungry. Can't wait for the next stage.

Most docs want you to drink 64+ ozs of fluids a day and my doctor included the shake. So, replace some of the Water with a shake?

Yes, you may become very hungry. It happens to almost everyone. Until you can eat solids and your band is adjusted you may feel like you're starving. X fingers this doesn't happen?
