6 week post op and bad pain on left side

As anyone had this? The pain is not always there but when it hits it feels like I'm being stabbed under my ribs. Had CT, ultrasound and labs done all looked good. But has been three days and it really sucks. Any help would be amazing

My pain has gone away. Doctor said that I did to much working out and needed to do less rough activity so I have switched to water aerobics and so far no pain!

Sadly I have and no clear reason for the pain, just wanted to see if anyone had had this and got more info then me :(

Everyone is different. Still, it wouldn't hurt to call them and check. It could be gas, constipation...anything. Good luck to you and keep us informed.

I'm 5 weeks out and from time to time I experience the same pain you mention. When I looked into the forum to see if anyone else experienced the same problem I found a couple of people who had a hernia repair along with the sleeve that had this same pain. And ironically my doctor performed a hiatal hernia repair on me as well.

I have that pain in my lower left back side and sometimes it makes me jump for last couple of days my belly button and incision as been hurting me not sure why but I will contact my doctors office on monday

I would try some gas x and see if it moves. Gas pains can be scary. Did u have an IVC filter placed before surgery to prevent blood clots? Not trying to scare you but its something I would inquire about with the surgeon. Wishing u the best.
