It's GO time!

My surgery is on 6/19! I'm soooo excited! I start my liquid diet on 6/5. I had my final appointment at the surgeons office yesterday and feel a little bit better about the diet. That's what I'm most nervous about. I can have 5 protein shakes a day (they suggested Premier Protein shakes from Sam's Club). I need to have 8 oz of 100% fruit juice for calories, and 48-64 oz of other liquids. I can have up to 2c broth, sf jello, sf Popsicles, and any other sf drink. I told my kids today (ages 7 & 9) that in a few weeks I will be going to the hospital so that the doctor can help me get healthy. They asked some good kid-friendly questions, so hopefully they will understand it good enough. I'm so ready! I'm excited to play with my kids, take them to amusement parks, water parks, and mostly to teach them a healthy lifestyle! Let's do this!
