Looks like I'll have to wait until August for them to even submit my paper work to the insurance . They say I have to be health insurance for 12 constitutive months and august will be 12. I was a little bummed out cause they told me June . Oh well I will wait patiently . I've started changing my eating habits and stated walking , well at least I'll be pain free this summer .its really to read about everyone journey on here . Y'all give me a lot of inspiration . Keep up the the good work guys !!

My insurance made me wait 6 months but around 5 months they said never mind. I still waited it out and it is disappointing.

i had to do 12 months with a health 'coach' required by insurance, so 16 months after my first appointment, i was finally banded. it was worth the wait tho, 3 weeks post op and feeling great
