I made my final choice in February that I wanted to get the gastric sleeve. I am now going to my last appointment today an after that I should be getting a date. My question is about how long after anyone's last appointment did they getting approved or denied for there surgery?

what insurance are you? I have my last appt Monday and just asked this same question! I have Cigna.. my prior auth lady at the surgical center said it will take Cigna 3-4 weeks

Qual care they never told me about how long it will take to get a answer

My place told me that by law an insurance company can't take any longer than 30 days...but the person that does their insurance says mine tends to be 2 weeks. You can always call the dr's office and ask for the insurance person. They should be able to tell you what they typically see with your insurance.
