Starting an informal support group. Meetings are going to be the first Saturday of the month. They will be at an area park and kid friendly.

My goal is for us to be able to get together and support each other in our journeys with encouragement, recommendations, recipe and fitness ideas swaps.

Our first meeting is scheduled for June 7 at 11am. Location is still being determined.

Got it. Thank you for creating the Austin chapter. My husband had gastric sleeve in May and I just had the lap band 3 weeks ago. We are both battling the wanting food demons.

Oh it's no problem. You guys are more then welcome to join us. And this upcoming meeting will be great for you guys. We are going to be talking about had hunger. It's something we all battle.

The next Austin meeting will be at 11am on November 1 at the Walnut Creek Baptist Church at 12062 N. Lamar Blvd. – Austin.

We will be doing a beginner Yoga demonstration. Please dress comfortably. You are welcome to bring a yoga mat but it's not required.
