Am I missing something?

Hi everyone! I need your opinion. I had my lap band back in October. I have not lost much weight. I have 4 cc in my band at this time. its been a really slow process. But I did notice that since then I have not been feeling the same. To start off I take B-complex, Omega fish oil, Ester C, plus my multivitamin. Well I have the following: Fatigue, very sleepy all day, can't focus, I have trouble comprehending. I talk to my Primary Dr. A few times he didn't want to order any blood test. He just said to exercise and I'll would feel better. Oh and I forgot one more thing a week ago I get dizzy one to two times a day. Am I missing something? Or do you think it has nothing to do with the band?

It's hard to tell with the information you've provided. What are your eating habits like?

It could be any number of things....anemia, Thyroid problems, sleep apnea. In my opinion, it's worth getting the blood tests done to find out. Talk to your doctor again maybe?

Definitely worth talking to your doctor about again and if he won't seriously listen to your concerns then I would try to find a new doctor.

Tell him YOU WANT the blood work done….its not costing him anything!!!!

It could be anything to nothing….band related or not….but you know your body and yourself best…and your doctor should be listening to your concerns and since you are obviously not feeling better you need to go back to him or find someone else.

No one here can diagnosis you or should be trying.

We are here to listen to you and provide support…please go back to the doctor and keep us posted as to what they find out.

Wishing you all the best…hope you feel better soon!
