7 weeks post op

So my 7th week how was it...?

I was sick ( with a cold) and I got really bad constipation :-( I also have a X-ray coming up because my doctor suspects I have arthritis in my knees :-( they are incredibly sore all the time ( it's not a weight thing)

food wise it's going okay I can tolerate a lot more different foods but I am struggling with the fact that I can only have a few small bites :-( I guess that's the point of the sleeve ... But it's hard to adjust .. Well I mean it's hard to adjust my brain because obviously if I eat to much I throw up , I felt quite bad yesterday and threw up twice it was ham .. :-(

But yes anyways that's my week 7 , also now down 26 pounds since surgery so yah oh and I have a check up tomorrow :)

Sorry to hear about your cold and I hope the x-rays turns out well for you. Getting used to eating so much less was a big adjustment for me too. At 17 months post-op, I still tend to have eyes bigger than my stomach... especially if there are a lot of things to choose from, like at a buffet. And I still struggle with leaving food on my plate, I come from the "clean your plate" family, but I'm getting better at it. It really helps to use saucers and 1 cup sized bowls to limit the amount of food I can bring to the table.
