2 days post op

Today I am 2 days post op. I can say that as far as pain it was tolerable getting up an moving around usually required a little pain med afterwards. I actually have been having trouble urinating. Dr says things will get better once all of the anesthesia is out of my system. Gas pains are bad though, but as long as I got up and walked and took slow deep breaths the pain would go away. Last night I are a sugar free Popsicle and got full just from eating that. What a change. Hunger has not crossed my mind yet. Even though I have taken in very little. I know this will change at some point but Popsicles seem to be my food of choice thus far! Anyways good luck to all the sleevers out there!!! Surgery was a breeze the worst part so far has been the all over body soreness and the ride home was rough!! But I am so excited to begin this new journey :)

Good for you, I'm 3 days post op and shaking off the anesthesia was tough. Isn't it great not to feel like you are hungryall of the time and a few bites are satisfying? Pretty soon we'll be posting our before and after pics too!

i have already lost about 10 lbs since surgery!! so exciting! i love the fact that hunger is no longer an issue but it is strange at the same time. One of the ladies i work with said she feels like she is missing one of her friends. I'd say it is a good friend to miss!!! Hope everything keeps progressing well for you!!! One thing i wasn't prepared for is about day 3 or 4 i was very emotional, all of the questions you will get "how does it feel" "what does full/hungry feel like" and so on gets to be a bit too much at times!!!
