Preop liquid diet question

I I am on day 3 of my preop liquid diet. So far things have been fine and I haven't been physically hungry or craving too much. I am however starting to feel a little weak and shaky. Is this normal, and is there anything I can do? My dietician did say that it's okay to have an extra shake if absolutely necessary if I "feel like I'm going to pass out". Don't know if this constitutes that though

Thanks!

Your blood sugar may be low? Usually when I get shaky that's why. Try half an extra shake, see if it helps?

That's a good thought, thank you. I didn't even think of the blood sugar. Unfortunately I didn't think to bring an extra to work with me, so I'm going to have to tough it out until I get home this time. But I guess I'll keep an extra at work in the future
