3.5 months out and burning in stomach?

Hello I had revision 3 and half months ago and everything has been fine up until yesterday. I ate a meal and then drank about 40 minutes after and started to have some burning in my stomach area. It's not heartburn and I'm not sure how to explain it but it feels sort of stretching and burning feeling. Has anybody experienced this? if so what is it? I see my doctor next Friday. If it was a late leak, I would most likely know right? Thank you.

Sounds more like heartburn to me. Sometimes excess acid presents itself in weird ways. It can feel like a strange hunger, a burning feeling, an uncomfortable unsettled feeling. I don't know what a leak feels like but i think most people initial experience feelings of "not right" like they are overall sick rather than stomach pain but maybe someone who experienced a leak can pipe up on that one.

How are you? HOpe you are doing ok

My Doc says leaks hurt a lot. You will know it compared to heart burn.

I had a lap band removal VSG on 06/03/2014. I have this burning inside my stomach. I take my pain medication and Zofran. The two help this burning sensation in my stomach.. I tied Prilosec and that doesn't help. I was going to see if Pepcid will work... I don't have a lot of Zofran. If there was a leak you would have severe pain and a fever cause a leak would cause peritonitis.

I added Zantac on top of my nexium and it has been working. I'm also not hungry at all this week. I guess I will be taking this week by week! I had my revision on feb 11 and have lost 35 lbs. prior to that, I lost 97 lbs (since lap band in 09/2012) and kept it off. I had a lot of issues with the band rubbing my stomach raw and causing eating issues. Thank you all for the support and advice. I'm down a total of 132 lbs and weigh 133.

Again, thank you all!

Zofran is for nausea so I wouldn't use it for heartburn. Maybe try Nexium. I can tell you I tried to stop my Nexium and my god the stomach pain was unbelievable-- burning pain nausea all in one. Resolved after the next dose of Nexium.
