Could vitamins be making me nauseous

Hi everyone, I was sleeved exactly 5 weeks ago. I was told to start taking a multivitamin 1 month post-op. Ever since I started, I have been feeling nauseous. I take one Centrum (it's pretty big, gotta cut it in half or even in 4). It seems like I was doing well until I started taking it. Has this happened to anybody else?

Does it have iron in it? That's likely to be the culprit. Taking multivitamins and minerals on an empty stomach were the only things that made me vomit in my first year.

I actually had to stop taking my multivitamin, because every time I took them, I would get violently nauseous and throw up. I thought maybe waiting a month or two before starting them again would help

Hi @@shelly75 - Perhaps your stomach is not quite ready for the regular large pills. Most post ops will use chewables for the first few months, and I also had to sip it down with a Protein shake. Vita

Yes, they made me nauseous too until I changed to a different brand. Now all is good.
