Hi I'm Belinda and I'm new just a little history I've had colorectal resection surgery twice and about a year ago I had incision hernia surgery with mesh repair.I'm 5;2 and about 180 pounds. My link is 30 and I have hi cholesterol.I'm wondering if I would be approved for the sleeve I'm wondering to if I could use my ins to plus since my last surgery every thing I gain is in my belly it has gotten so uncomfortable and hurts my back I have tryed so manifesto lose weight but it's just an none ending cycle and I end up weighting more than I did .

You need to contact your insurance company or talk to the person that handles insurance claims in your surgeon's office. But with a BMI of under 35, you would be hard pressed to find any insurance company that would pay for WLS.

I don't think most surgeons would operate on you because your bmi is low and weight loss surgery is usually for people who are severely/morbidly obese.
