Protein Goals

I had surgery on 5/6 and yet to hit my protein goals. I have a very hard time drinking the shakes and the Isopure is disgusting. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I expect if I do not begin to hit my daily goals in the next few weeks?

Get unflavored protein powder and mix it in broths or dilute strain cream soups.

Try diluting your shakes with skim milk. This is the only way I could ever drink them.

I think Syntrax Nectar tastes WAY better than Isopure.

I agree with getting unflavored Protein powder....mix it with Torani sugar free syrups milk and ice or frozen fruit....not sickly sweet.

My favorite is Torani Belgian cookie syrup, half a frozen banana and skim milk...blend til smooth...Soo good!

Syntax Nectar mixed with Greek yogurt is incredible! I've tried the Roadside Lemonade, Caribbean Cooler, and Strawberry Kiwi. 3/4 scoop (might be able to do a full scoop, just haven't tried it) mixed with 1/2 cup non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt. The easiest way to get protein in, in my opinion.

I'm almost 3 weeks out and have only hit my Protein goal once.

Thank you all very much! I will all recipes right away!

I use NOW Sports whey Protein Isolate unflavored and DaVinci syrups and sometimes I use banana, a peach, or a couple of strawberries. But I don't use milk except unsweetened Almond milk. Its great.

I ended up lactose intolerant after surgery. Switching to Lactose Free milk, Ensure Protein RTD, and ProtiDiet Concentrate really helped me meet my protein goals. The lactose intolerance got better and I can now handle milk and greek yogurt again.

I like the unjury chicken broth. It's 21gm of protein for 8oz cup of broth, and I sometimes substitute some or all of the water for soy milk and that's makes it more of a cream soup type of thing and increases the protein even more.

Where do you buy unjury

My doctor office has a store I bought mine from, but you can just go to Unjury website and order. They actually have advertisements all over this website, so you can just click on their website that way too.
