Anyone know what to take for a cold two weeks post op?

I have a nasty cold and I'm only two weeks post op. I tried taking Tylenol cold but the pill gets stuck and it made me nautious! : (

You probably should ask your doctor but if it were me, I'd buy the children's liquid of whatever is recommended for the symptoms I'm having. Runny nose? Benadryl. Stuffy nose -- some child decongestant. I try to avoid the mixed products (ones with a variety of drugs for a variety of symptoms).

The pharmacist can probably tell you about how much to take for an adult dosage. Or you could get some liquid Niquil cold.

Best wishes -- hope you feel better soon.

Thanks!! The liquids won't hurt to take? I will try it.. Anything is worth a try!! I don't want it to turn into bronchitis! Ugh!!

They make an adult liquid Tylenol! I used it post op for pain. Check Walgreens or Rite Aid, if there is one in your area. Feel better soon!
