Ready....Set......GO!

Tomorrow is the start of my 10 day pre-op diet. Protein shakes only (5-6 a day) for first 9 days...10th day Clear liquids only. Pre-Op Exam on Monday. Surgery May 20th.

It's really sinking in.....I'm doing this!! I'm ready to get on the otherside of this and start my "new normal" :-)

Any last minute words of advice to get through this phase appreciated!

Time to GET ER DONE!!!

You can do it! Keep believing in yourself.

The preop diet is hard, but keep thinking about all the great stuff you will be able to do when the weight starts dropping off.

Stay focused, this is a good practice for how you will be eating for a month once your postop. Dont cheat, or at least try not to! drinks lots of Water to help you with food cravings and helps keeping you full.

Stick to the preop diet and you will lose a significant amount of weight. Shrinking your liver makes it easier for the Dr to move around in there. Good Luck on your journey!
