2 Specific a Questions

Hi guys,

So, I am new to the board and have a million questions as my surgery is (tentatively) a month away.

1) I am a 6'2" 381 lb 33 y/o man. I don't particularly want to get below 250 pounds. I know this is a ways off but once I get to that weight, is it possible to maintain that weight fairly easily? Any feedback in this area would be great.

2) I possibly have to travel for work approximately 28 days after surgery for 5 days. Anything I should expect traveling around the one month post op mark? Anyone feel that they wouldn't have been able to do that?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Hi Ryan, I'm on D25 post-surgery and could easily travel, be it by car or plane. But I didn't have any complications, so my recovery was fairly quick. I can eat almost anything (my surgeon basically said I could skip the puree phase), so it's pretty easy to find things to eat. As long as you take your protein powder with you and have a shake in the morning or evening, nutrition-wise you should be ok:)

Thank you Ms Yoyo. That makes me feel better to hear. Congrats on Day 25!

Ryan, why do you want to stop at 250? Just curious.
