Bloody Stool?

So, I'm almost 5 weeks out. Progressing slowly but good. Instead of diarrhea I am now getting a but constipated. Upon going today, I had what looked like a little bloody stool very solid. I'm surprisingly calm, I do work in a hospital, but curious if the trauma of cutting and suturing the stomach could lead something down the g.i. Tract to be found later on. I'll ask doc but didn't know if anyone experienced this.

it must be due to constipation..try something for it. constipation is not good.

all the best.

If its red like fresh blood, its from the constipation. If the stool is dark it could be more serious and you need a doc. If its constipation I recommend aloelax from the health food store. I take one every three days.

when in doubt, ask the doctor. I hope it's just a status quo sort of thing. I was taking an Iron supplement that turned my stool black. Thankfully, I don't have to take that anymore! Keep us posted on what you find out!
