1 full week post op

This had been a very good week. Besides fatigue I only had 1 challenge...hunger! I have now advanced to pureed Soups and it holds me over for a little while but I still feel like I need more to eat. I've added more Protein shakes to my daily menu so hopefully that will help.

Thank you for all of the well wishes everyone and helping me push through. Looking forward to soft foods next week.

Congrats on one week! Hang in there... If you are getting enough protein, then the hunger might just be mental. Good to keep the shakes going. Keep active! I find responding to other people posts during the "mental battle" periods helps me refocus my thoughts.

Congrats on getting through your first week. By that time, I had done clear and full liquids and was looking to start mushies on Day 8. I was so happy! LOL Enjoy your mushies and good luck with your recovery. :)
