update for ashamed and frustrated

First thank you everyone for your support.

I went to see my Dr a few days ago. Well last Christmas I got the flu. After I was well my neck was in pain. I went to see my Dr and my thyroid was inflamed and swollen. Now I am cold all the time, my hair is falling out, I am tired all the time and I have gained weight. Hypothyroidism! I have one more test and maybe another ultrasound to do and that will tell my Dr if I need meds to help with my thyroid problem.

In the mean time, I got another fill and now up to 7.5 cc and continue with my diet and small portions. And go back for another fill in June..

I am not so worried about the fill, I would like the get my thyroid under control.

Thank you everyone for your positive thoughts and being supportive, It really help me get through my negative feelings. I think I will be ok now. But I will be back for more encouragement when I need it.

takuwinds,

So glad you made this post. I was literally just wondering about how you've been doing!

Glad you went to your Dr.'s to find out what was going on! It's good you have answers now and that you went and got yourself taken care of! Hypothyroidism will definitely throw you off track.

Stay strong and keep pushing through. You're doing all the right things for all the pieces to fall into place!

Keep in touch!
