In TN just got approved and set a date

I am really new here and just starting the surgery journey. Could use an experienced mentor and a friend at about the same point. I need to lose 100+ pounds but would be happy to have a healthy pain free body again. Have no in house support or accountability as I live by myself, not lonely, just alone and would like to share.

Hello Majique, I jus got a surgery date yesterday. Saw the surgeon the end if February. I have some support but not telling many people in few of judgement. I'm going to a center of excellence and get have life time support groups. I would be happy to share with you as we both start this journey of living. Where are you located? I'm in Central NY.

Congrats Zelda. My day is May 19th. I have only told my mom and two other people. I know my mom is scared but she'll be there for me. What day are you planning?

I haven't told many either. My BF, mom and two kids. I don't until June 9. I have already started eating smaller and no liquids with meals. Trying hard to stay away from sweets. I eat organic mostly anyway now. Keep me I firmed with your progress. Have you taken pictures yet and measurements?

No I actually never thought about measurements. I planned to do pictures. I have my pre- op appointment on the 14th. I bet they will take some pics for me. I will keep ONE old outfit. I have 10 sizes of clothes still in my closet. How crazy is that.
