  9. I had the sleeve in may and I know it still works. I can do pretty well most days, but my trouble, like always is staying in control at night. Please advise. I need some support on this one.
  10. I need to get back into ketosis bad. Where can I find some ready made keto diets? 7, 14, or 30 charts/ lists.
  11. I thought about it. I am 4 months out and starting to slow down but many of those things swell up in your stomach an I don't have much room and I'm scared of potential pain. I figure if those things really worked this site and these procedures would not be needed.
  12. Hi. I'm 4 months post op and like many others, I wish I had done this YEARS ago I missed so much, but I'm back in the game. I not where I want to be but I am no where near where I was (4 daily insulin shot, HB pressure and cholesterol pills). I know and see first hand this is a miracle but it's not an easy path. I have a lot of new habits to develop for my new life but I am still very grateful.
  13. Hello. I had surgery May 19th. I feel so much better. I've lost almost 50 pounds from my pre- op diet and 95 pounds from my highest weight ever but I'm REALLY slowing down and getting scared. I think 4 months is soon to be only losing 2 pounds a week. I know I have slipped some but I climb back on the wagon pretty fast. Any body out there 6-12 months out who went through this? I used to have that ketosis taste in my mouth.... I need that back. That was my sign things were right. I can stand to lose 55 - 75 more pounds easy. Help.
  14. It sounds like everyone is doing great., I'm still thrilled at my overall progress, however.... is anyone else slowed to a crawl? I still only weight about every 2-4 weeks usually at support group but at the last weigh in I lost only 5 pounds in about 2 weeks. I'm a little scared.
  15. I have a birthday coming tomorrow that will be the 3 month mark. Short 1 day . Anyway I'm gonna find a scale tomorrow and hope to get a pleasant surprise. I still feel pretty good but l am not having as many wow I can do that now moments. Maybe I'm just adjusting but I hope I'm still losing.
  16. If you like eggs, and I do, pick B. It looks the most gentle. I m only 11 weeks out and have been faced with a farewell and welcome public lunch in the last month after I left one job and took another so remember....if you are still on soft food, two eggs are a lot!!!. Talk a lot, take your time and I honestly got extra napkins because I actually spit out a few bites when I wiped my mouth so the plate would look different and I would not get sick. One bite too much could be embarrassing and it can happen real fast. Enjoy the outing and the people. You can do it.
  17. I am a true apple girl....well almost an inverted pair. Big on the top small at the bottom. Big stomach ONLY minimized by big boobs and a BROAD back. Trouble with this shape is I am NOT a guy. I am losing still only 11 weeks post op but I really want to shrink the shoulder/back fat. HELP. I know bodies have a natural basic structure, but I want to improve the proportion.
  18. Hello all.... May 19th was my date. I had a long journey before surgery. Diagnosed with diabetes last spring 2013 when I was JUST thinking about having surgery. My highest weight was a few months before the diagnosis at 299. The diabetes did give me a 30 pound weight loss, but I was sick. Anyway I got the diabetes under control in about 9 months with pills and 4 shots a day. Something had to give. So by the end of my pre- op diet I was 269 at pre- op (5/16/14) and now at 2 months post op I'm at 232. I am happy that my clothes are feeling loose, but I'm still wearing my BIG girl stuff. Tomorrow I get to go closet shopping. I can start to wear those clothes I refused to toss when I outgrew them. I really did not have a plan at the time, but somehow I knew I'd be in them again. I feel like the weight loss is slowing already but to be honest, I have to exercise. It's still kind of hard to believe I actually can now. This sight was a huge help pre and post op, so I'll need your help for the work out stage. Any tips on motivation and maintiance?
