I am scheduled 4/13 and am on the liquid diet now. I know that after the surgery I will be on liquids. Are you just as hungry afterward as you are on the pre-op liquid? I sure hope not.:hungry:

It really depends on the individual. My hungry never really fully returned. Good luck. Julie

Mine wasn't too bad either way. I definitely wasn't too hungry for a 3 or 4 days post-op.

Same for me I was just not hungry. I was banded on march1 07 , I still dont eat alot, I have not had a fill yet. april 27 is my fill date. Cant wait to see what that brings

I didn't even think about food the first two weeks after surgery. It was hard enough getting 2oz of liquid down at first! The funny thing was, I remember being in the hospital the morning after surgery and thinking how crazy it was that I hadn't eat for more than 24 hours and didn't feel hungry in the least!

I wasn't hungry for a week or two, then after the swelling went down I started to get hungry.
