What's wrong with me???

So since I booked my surgery I have been on the condemned prisoner diet. You know - the one where you eat like it's your last meal??? I have been giving into ALL my cravings (and have gained 7 lbs as a result).

Last night I craved.....BROCCOLI

and today.....A salad :faint:

Help me - is this normal???:help:

:heh:

I have been treating my meals like that for the last month and a half. When I went to my first consult.

This is the first thread I have found on this. I fell like I have gaind 25 lbs.

By the way, I have to change my ticker because I purchased a new scale and it reads closer to my doctore, but it pumps 10 pounds on. Dam! been delaying for two days now. Been loosing 1/2 lb to 1 a week. At one time, I went 3 weeks without a loss so the new scale although is better shows me with a gain. Arrrrrrrrrrgh!

I can't believe this. I have just come back from an all inclusive vacation wherein I felt every meal was my last. I was going to post a very similar message. I am having my consult today but I have already booked my surgery at TLBC for April 26....not too anxious huh!

Everything I ate made me think that I may never eat this again, am I doing the right thing.....but then my daughter showed me her digital pics on the screen and I am soooo big. Way bigger than I thought. I have to do this whatever the sacrifice. I actually didn't think I looked that bad. Boy was I mistaken. I am glad these last supper feelings are normal.

I would really love to hear from you bandsters what a typical days food intake would be. Like what do you have for Breakfast - how much , Snacks, lunch, dinner etc.. I am talking after the healing of course. Just to sort of put my mind at ease. Don't be shy, spit it out...not literally though...

Donna, what I found out from talking to so many people - is that everyone does this! Someone at TLBC told me they gained 10 kilos the month before their surgery!

Good luck.

You rock too Yoda. Today was a GREAT day...even though it was the first day back to work after the holidays - some didn't even recognize me - or were sort of startled - I have that effect on some! Ha!Ha! But I still have over 300 (not a typo) e-mails to read and answer ...sigh... I'll be paying for the vacation for the next few weeks.

Have a great weekend. I'm going to glo in the dark golfing with a bunch of kids tomorrow night - that should be really relaxing!

Hi: Not only did I eat "my last supper" many times overagain, after I had the band on I religiously stuck to the clinic's direction. ONce I was on solids my brain said "test the waters". So it seems it is an on going battle.Doddie
