Finally after weeks of going back and forth with doctors office and insurance company, everything was submitted today. Now the nail biting begins. I hope it's approved. Prayers and good vibes requested. Definitely need this surgery!

Good luck with the approval! I have a surgery date 5/6 and my paperwork will most likely be submitted next Monday. Am also anxious to get that approval to finally know that my date is 100% guaranteed.

Good Luck and I hope everything turns out okay for you. Try not to bite your nails though after you loose your weight you might want to have great nails to go with your new body. I am just starting my journey. I have my first appointment may 16th. I have to do a 6 month medically supervised diet though. I have two insurance companies and I was told by the second one that I not only have to meet the requirements of the primary insurance but I also have to meet the second insurance requirements too. I 'm not sure this is true. My PCP told me to go to my first appointment since they deal with insurance companies all the time they would now.
