Liquids post op

Was wondering if the shakes we drink post op count as the liquids or do I need to do water on top of the shakes?

    Yes we have to get in 64oz of water in as well as our shakes as far as I know

    . Shakes count towards the 64 ounces. If the fluids are easier to get down the tule is liquids before protein. I'm 7 days post op and I get 1 shake and about 30 ounces of clear liquids down. It's a job!! Today I'm back to work!
