newbie sleeved 3/26

Hello,

I had surgery on the 26th. I haven't had pain meds since the 27th not any nausea meds feels like I'm doing fine.

Monday not so much I was confused as to what I did I felt horrible I was mad at my self for even thinking this was a good I idea. I could not drink Water cause it hurt. Protein drinks were also a no go.

Today, I'm feeling better I have lost 18lbs I'm trying to get all my fluids in and drinking at least two instant Breakfast for protein. I can only drink room temp water and I can indulge in sf popsicles.

broth is going well, little boring so I just got Soups and have strained than out to just drink the broth.

I hear Isopure is a good source of protein has anyone tried it?

Here's to going into week 2

Hang in there, I had a terrible time getting my protein drinks down. I really like the protein drinks from costco, premiere protein.

Thank you,

I actually have those, they are you thick for me and I was told that it maybe to much protein at one time for me??

It is so difficult at first to swallow most anything but it will get easier. I tried the Isopure and hated it. I tried a couple of flavors and it was so bad I just could not drink it. I prefer the Premier Protein drinks. The first couple of weeks the most important thing is getting in the fluids. Don't be overly concerned about the protein, it will be easier to swallow protein once the swelling goes down in your new tummy. Try the Unjury... you can order the sample case that has a little bit of everything in it and its high in protein and its quite tasty.

Thank you, I will look into that

I drink isopure zero carb for breakfast daily. Love them! Together with 12 oz of milk I get 68 grams of Protein per shake. Free shipping too.

Perfect thank you, I'm gonna take a look tomorrow I think I'm going to try it the premier is just too much for me

My surgery was 3/25. Look up Chike protein shakes. Like Unjury, you can also order a sample of the flavors that they offer. I've tried ISO-100, Unjury & Chike. Chike is BY FAR the best to me... Plus they mix with water :)
