Hunger...

I've been doing so good. The 10 days pre-op liquids & the last 7 days post op I've managed the hunger well & dealt. Today all I want to do is eat a piece of fish or bowl of pasta. I feel dizzy & irritable. I don't want to break the diet but this is crazy. I had black bean soup for dinner cause it's thick & usually knocks out hunger. Any advise?

If you're on puréed foods find recipes to satisfy the craving. My nutritionist gave me some samples. For Italian food have some ricotta cheese with a little pasta sauce or pizza sauce. For Mexican, retried beans with lite sour cream. I find being creative does the trick. The hardest part for me is knowing if I'm really hungry or eating to try and get protein in.

Egg drop soup is very satisfying and has lots of protein.

I'm sending the hubby for take out tomorrow for egg drop soup! French onion soup broth is delicious as well
