Officially in Weight Loss Mode!

My high weight was 237. The morning of surgery I was 229.8. The day I was released from the hospital I was 236. This morning I was 228. Let the weight loss begin!

How does everyone get their protein in? I'm not hungry at all. It's the thought of food that is currently making me nauseous not the over-eating of it.

Just make sure you are sip, sip, sipping that water! It is hard to get all the protein in. By the time I had protein, there was no room for veggies or anything else. And true, not hungry with all the protein... Just give it some time and your body will start adjusting to the eating changes. I allow myself one snack a day that isn't protein just so I am getting my nutrients. I still haven't figured out how to get the recommended 6 mini meals in. I only have 4 a day but my nutritionist said that is fine. If I ate 6, I would spend my whole day eating!! LOL. Just do what is comfortable for you and talk to your nutritionist if you think you are not meeting your requirements. Are you drinking any protein? Alot of people get it in through shakes. :)

The only things I was able to get in during those first few weeks post-op were protein shakes, or like the chicken soup flavored Unjury protein mix. I got several different flavors of the Unjury protein powder. I really liked the vanilla and chicken soup flavored ones. Other than that, I had jello and water mostly lol.
