April 8th

Hi, I'm having my gastric bypass April 3rd.... I'm very very excited... This weight problem has been a long battle that I've never given up on... I had the band 13 years ago, which was removed after a couple of years... My weight has gone up and down huge amounts in my adult life, I can't do it anymore!!!! I can't deal with the failure anymore... The embarrassment kills me... This is my last resort, I know it's not the miracle cure, but it's close enough... I'm on the south coast of England, is anyone else???? Lucy

I'm on the other side of the pond is the snowy USA. You should not focus on the fact that had the band. It doesn't work for a lot of people so you are not alone. My surgeon and my primary care doctor are against it because so many people don't succeed. Focus on 4/3 and how successful you are going to be!
