How long is too long?!

How long has everyone waited to hear back from insurance for approval? Monday (tomorrow) will be 2 weeks since my last 6 month appt. and haven't heard a word. Making me nervous and anxious. I have BCBS thru SC.

I was told it could take up to 30-45 days. Not sure how true it is, however, I believe they have to review everything and make sure you have followed everything they've asked of you to grant the approval. Hope this was helpful!

hear back from insurance - nervous and anxious.

first off............

i see this is your first post!!!! :)

you took the official "brave" step to show yourself to us :)

see B) - wasn't hard, was it

some insurance companies do take their "sweet" time in replying

if your insurance/work covers WLS

and you fortunately/unfortunately have many co-morbities

you will "probably" be approved

thats just my opinion

you "could" call the insurance company

they might tell you something is in the mail

maybe even tell you if you've been approved

don't take my word for it

i made a mistake once :o

i thought i was wrong

hope you hear good news sooner than later :)

fingers and toes crossed ;)
