    You should be fine...but check with your doctor, just to be sure... you will be surprised, by that time, you will have extra room for that stupid, little airplane seat! Congrats on setting your date!

    This should be totally fine. Speak with your surgeon if u feel still uncomfortable about flying, I am 3 months out and flying out tomorrow.

    I have read many stories by people who went to Mexico for their surgeries and they were flying home within a week of surgery. It seems like you would be fine that far out.

    I just went to my 2 week Post-Op visit with the Pulmonary Doctor and she said 4 - 6 weeks before getting on a airplane.

    The concern is blood clots (Thrombosis)
