insurance question

Has anyone dealt with OHP? I read through their handbook and what is covered and not covered but I couldn't find anything. I also googled OHP coverage for wls and couldn't find anything recent... if you know anything please share! Thank you!

I haven't dealt with OHP but I would suggest that you call OHP member services and ask them directly what WLS they cover if any. That's what I did with mine. I knew more about the requirements than my PCP did when I finally decided to have the surgery. That worked out well for me because instead of having to wait on my Dr.'s office to find out the requirements and then call me back for another appointment, they were able to set up appointments with the specialists I needed to see. You're your best advocate!
