I had surgery on Wednesday and since then my sleeve will absolutely not tolerate anything sweet. It's been absolute torture trying to get down my prescribed (and mandatory) liquid meds because they are all fruit flavored and really sweet. I literally just spent two hours trying to work up the courage to swallow maybe one tablespoon worth of meds. I eventually did but now I feel sick to my (tiny) stomach.
Does anyone have any experience or know how I can make these go down any better? Should I have them refilled with no flavor? But what if that's worse??
I'm going to start my protein shakes tomorrow and I can't imagine that will go well at all since they're sweet. But I know I need to start them because I've literally only been able to tolerate water for the past few days and I feel like I am just going to get myself malnourished.
:( help!
