4 years post-op and fill

I am 4 years post-op and want to get a fill. I have lost about 85lbs and need to lose about another 50. Just wanted to know if any has had a fill this far out?

yes. that's why the lapband can be the best. it's adjustable for the rest of our lives.

  • Oh yeah, we see folks fall off the wagon and get back on 7-8 years out. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

  • I was even told that after a few yrs of being banded that the fluid actually evaporates some therefore a fill will be needed.
