Had my surgery this week!

Had gastric bypass this Past Monday 2/24. Surgery went off without a hitch; was discharged home after 2 days. Clear liquid diet going well, but the scale isn't moving. Is it too soon?

Too soon, you probably have a lot of water weight to get rid of from the fluids you received in the hospital. Congratulations this will be one of the best decisions you've made for your health.

Definitely too soon! I gained 11 pounds from IV fluids given during my hospital stay. It took a full week just to gat back down the my pre-op weight. The second week was when the weight loss began. Follow your doctor's instructions, walk if you can, and sip, sip, sip! In the early weeks/months dehydration is a common avoidable problem. Be patient - you're on your way! :-)

Congrats on the new healthier you I cant wait to join you I am glad that your surgery went well and your doing great. keep us posted.
