Question ? Is this normal

I had the sleeve done on the 12th of feb (5) days ago and I feel like I can A, go bad to work already B, eat whole food already Is this normal ? My incisions are healing nicely And I'm not on any pain meds since day two As of right now I'm doing 11/2 of the GNC shakes and broths, crystal light & water and two spoonfuls of farina per day plus chewable multivitamin chewable Pepcid AC and a chewable calcium pill. Is anyone else going thru this ? I want to eat something soiled and I want to hit the gym and do stuff !!

I don't have answer for you but I hope after I get my sleeve this Monday, I'll have similar feelings :-)

Plumb, people do feel like that early on, but don't do it. Your stomach is not healed and if you go too quickly and eat solid foods you could seriously damage yourself and end up in the hospital. Stick with the plan. It's hard, but you can do it. Ask your doctor about when you can hit the gym, you don't want to pull stitches. Walking you can certainly do, but get your doctor's clearance before trying anything else this early on. Good luck :)

Yes it's been 12 days and I'm sticking to it DR just told me yes to gym / swimming but go easy as for food I've been having some Farina and oatmeal and yogurt I guess it ain't so bad egg drop soup too.

Doctor just gave me permission to start weight training, it's been 3 months since I've been sleeved.

I was okayed for Cardio a week after surgery.

You take longer to heal from the inside than from the outside. Just think of your pouch like a baby. You wouldn't feed certain things to a baby. Good luck and you can do this!

its been 16 day since i was sleeved , and today i had a scrambled egg for the first time in 3 weeks ,i got to say i wasn't looking forward to it, i guess after 3 weeks of not eating and only drinking you get used to it , it went down easy and i have to say i couldn't finish it , LoL this coming from a guy that could easily eat three eggs in one sitting , I'm down 23LBS already ? thank you for the support and answers that you just cant get anywhere else ,

I'm 4 mos out on Mon and still can't do scrambled or boiled eggs. I'm jealous! 23 lbs is great keep up the good work. I still mainly live off of deli shaved ham, cheeses, cottage cheese, dannon light&fit Greek yogurt and chicken and real cheeseburgers. I do eat kashi protein cereal with Braums 1% milk and it hasn't seemed to slow down my loss. Down 57lbs since sleeve! Can't wait until summer weather!
