Hi. Just completed my psych eval a week ago. At my eval they asked general physical & mental health ?'s. Also ?'s about support of family & friends and reason you want the surgery & ultimate goals.

I had my Psych Eval last year and had to do a 200 questionnaire. Do you have support, Are you willing to change your life,

A lot of the questions contradict one another.

Some questions were definitely odd; asking if I ever hear voices or see strange images.

My guess is that they want to be sure that you are emotionally and mentally stable to have this kind of surgery. After the questionnaire, I had a brief 20 minute session with a psychiatrist asking simple questions about myself. Nothing too heavy. I passed the psych evaluation, but he put a short comment stating "Has some stressful tendencies".. I was told by my PCP, that most evals come back with the same statement, as they do not expect everyone to be there because there situation is perfect.

Best of Luck! No Worries :)
