Hello all, March 4th is the go date. <smiles>

I am a pro-active type of person. Looking for. Food or drink advise, things that people suggest to make side effects easier. Thanks

Water is tough after surgery, don't know why. I could get it in much easier if I heated it a bit. Have a bunch of crystal light/mio flavors on hand--you never know what will appeal to you post-op. The same thing with protein shakes. Also, after surgery, take the time to rest. And remember, as miserable as you may be the first few days, it gets better every single day. I am 7 weeks out today, and feel pretty darn good! :) You can do it!

My date is March 3rd!! Very excited and nervous all at the same time. I am also trying to be proactive as to what I will want after the surgery, but as knowledgable as I think I have become, I have no clue where to start.

I am scheduled march 5th with dr aceves and what is really helping me prepare is youtube! I saw sooo many helpful videos this weekend. It gave me a really good idea of what to take with me and what to drink in the beginning. Yay! Only 3 weeks away!
