What type of surgery???

I'm a bander...I was released to "Soak" 1 week after surgery...that included swimming and the whirlpool...

BUT...as already mentioned...why not ask your Dr.? A simple phone call will work...

As others have said, talk to your surgeon. I had my surgery July 24th (2012), and was allowed to swim as long as I was very careful by mid August. I did use something that floated to help keep myself up right when I was out deeper.
