I wouldn't mind so much if......

I wouldn't mind a stall/gain so much if I'd cheated!

But, Halloween came and went without even a taste of candy, thanksgiving was nothing but plain turkey, not even a smidgen of potatoes or gravy or pie, Christmas? Not a single goodie! New Year's Eve, nada, I did not have cake on my own birthday! Nothing but Protein for super bowl Sunday!

My mother tries to get me to eat various fattening/carby things regularly, only to be met with a big, fat No!

I understand stalls and such, but for the love of Pete, where is that big drop?

I feel like I'd be in the very same place, had I tasted the candy, ate the pie, sampled cake and so on! I want to be rewarded for my good deeds! I'm a model patient!

I feel robbed.

I have been on a similiar path... lost 6oz when I weighed in today...nothing to "write home about".... but a small loss is better than ANY gain!!! That's how I look at it...as long as I am not gainin

  • You need to look back and reflect on how much weight you gained when you did have all those Snacks. This year reward yourself with a treat of a new outfit, manicure or a facial. Change your mindset

Agreed. It's always better to focus on the positive! But, once in awhile, it's ok to vent your frustrations in a safe place! How wonderful for you to be off meds! That's a huge accomplishment! We will get there, I know it!

I know where your coming from. My husband and I were both sleeved on 22/10/13 he has lost almost 85lb and I have lost 55lb. We eat exactly the same food, drink etc the only difference is that he has had to go out for meals with work so some of his choices haven't been as great, yet he is motoring along like a steam train while I am slowly but surely losing. I try to not compare myself to him and be happy and proud of where I'm at but it is hard when I think of all those times I have said no to something. Keep at it you have done an amazing job

Yeah he is lucky. WE WILL GET THERE, just might take a little longer. I'm so glad the phsycologist prepared us both for the fact he would lose faster than I would. Keep at it !
