my story

I was sleeved Oct 2, 2013, no complications and have lost a total of 70 pounds. I do have very dry skin and my co-workers complain about my protein breathe once in a while. I do get depressed because I really enjoyed food and it is hard to watch others eat and you not being able to. Don't get me wrong I would not change a thing and I do eat mostly protein and bites of other foods, but I can get carried away with carbs and have to watch that closely. These forums are a great source of information and I just what to thank everyone who writes

Wow, you are doing great with your weight loss! I think most of us struggle with adjusting to life without food as a source of comfort and enjoyment, but it sounds like you are doing well by acknowledging those feelings and not letting them get the best of you.

And by the way, if you are on MFP, feel free to friend me there, my user name is SibylDiane. I can always use more Sibyls in my life ;)
