Yep, the dreaded hunger is back! Same thing here. I am really trying to focus on my Water intake to see if if helps. I am trying to drink 16 oz before each meal to see if it helps. As far as adding an extra snack, I was at about 900-1000 calories at 9 months out so as long as you are within you calorie range, it seems like you could break it out your meal spacing however you want.

Are your meals consisting of filling foods that take a while to digest and pass? Are you drinking too soon after?

If you're eating 5 small meals, there's not much time in between for anything but liquids - if you wait long enough. Where would you fit a snack in?

If you DO need a snack, try turkey Jerky. The numbers are good on it, you get a real good 'chew' sensation, and I find it sits in the stomach a nice long time.

I am having the exact same problem and had surgery same time as you. I find my calories sneaking to the 1100 calorie level and if it wasn't for my intense workouts I might be gaining. I am definitly slacking on Water and the quality of my meals. Too many carbs. I am going to apply myself to eating more dense Protein at mealtime and keep snacking too protein too. Good luck to both of us.
