High protein shakes ~30 g of protein a piece. & stay hydrated tho & don't best yourself up about your protein intake too much. I tried incorporating meals when my doctor told me too but if I had stayed on fulls longer I wouldn't have almost dehydrated self enough to go to the hospital & would have had more initial weigh loss. I was so full after an ounce meal I couldn't eat for 90 min. As for the fatigue, some people recover slowly. Keep up on your nutrition!

I found Zero Carb Isopure Protein mix to be my favorite. It's 25g protein PER SCOOP....and it has a wider variety of flavors than most (everything from vanilla to Cookies & Cream to fruit punch). Most of the fitness and health food stores carry it (Vitamin Shoppes is where I shop). That way, even if you can only handle a small volume, each scoop (mixed with Water or skim milk, depending if you get a fruit-flavored or a typical vanilla/chocolate) gives you the most bang for your small tummy buck. :)

It can be near impossible for some to hit those Protein numbers the first 2 weeks!

My Dr and nut told me to concentrate on getting liquids in so not to become dehydrated so I was supplementing with drinking chicken broth & eating SF popsicles while trying to sip liquids.

The numbers will get easier to hit in the weeks ahead.

Just don't get dehydrated and good luck with your journey!
